1. Group Health Insurance coverage - Chamber members can choose from a variety of Blue Cross Health Care plans from Chamber Choice.

2. Networking - Membership in the Chamber allows businesses and/or individuals to utilize the tools of "networking" with other businesses. These relationships that develop can lend weight to individual businesses and also assist in strengthening the local economy. Networking with other businesses allows the individual (business) to expand on what they have and open new avenues. Attendance at Business Card exchanges, seminars and other Chamber functions are just some of the means to get out there and see what' going on and pick up new ideas.

3. Financial Assistance - The Chamber is an excellent avenue to acquire information regarding financial tools available through federal, state and local funding programs for expanding a businesses inventory, physical plant, re-locating or improvements.

4. A Southern Wayne Regional Chamber Newsletter is published every 2 months for members and contains information on "What's going on In the area", "Chamber news and upcoming events", and other pertinent information. The Newsletter also has a new feature called "Business Spotlight" to focus on both new and returning Chamber members.  If you have not already submitted your Business Spotlight form, please do so and either fax or mail it to the Chamber office.  It is FREE advertising for YOUR business.  If any member is interested in submitting an article, ad or flyer in the Newsletter, please contact the chamber office or email us at swrchamber@swrchamber.org .

5. Free Advertising opportunity on two Local Radio Stations - Radio Stations WDNH AND WYCY, Honesdale have made air time available for the Chamber members. Each station has allocated a 15 minute show for the Chambers to market special events or new businesses in the area. This is your time to be in the spotlight. We will assist you in an interview type fashion to let you describe your business or event. This service is free and is a great tool for promoting your business.

6. Money Saving Discounts on - Nationwide Auto Insurance and discounts with other businesses that are members of the Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce.

7. A Reputable Referral Source for Business Members - Calls are received daily about businesses in our area and surrounding areas. Inquiring whether or not a certain business belongs to the Chamber of Commerce and how long they are in business, or have been members of the Chamber, etc. Proving that most businesses and their associates realize the importance of becoming a Chamber member and supporting the local communities as well as boosting our economy.

8. Free Listing on our Web page - All current members business name, contact, address, e mail address and phone number is entered as part of our home page.

Services

Membership in the Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce is one of the most important investments a business can make. There are many reasons to join the Chamber and three important ones are cost effective health care coverage, networking and keeping abreast of what is happening in and around your business area and Community.

Healthcare is an expensive item. Being a member of the Chamber can make that affordable and allow you to offer it as a benefit to your employees. The Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce offers a great opportunity for all members to network by Business Card Exchanges, membership listing on our web site and contacts through the Chamber office. The Board of Directors of the Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce and it's Executive Director are involved in economic development at the local and county level and have developed a good relationship with Township Supervisors, Commissioners and WEDCO. Our members are kept informed.
